| Born and raised in Vancouver and now residing in Victoria BC, Amoura Rose runs a beauty business and freelances as a petite model and fashion illustration artist. By day, she is a Human Resources professional; by night she indulges in beauty projects.
Beauty and Business
 Outside of her corporate career, Amoura has an entrepreneurial endeavour in cosmetics. In 2009, she distributed her own line of natural skin care as a trial launch to test the market and was also a school project. Inspired by her trips to Paris, her love for European cakes, and her passion for the Boudoir and Victorian historic eras, she is now working on a line of French-themed perfumes which launches on Valentine's Day of 2012.
Fine Arts Fashionista
Amoura's signature art style combines the exotic essence of the East with European haute couture. Her artworks have been published in the media since she was 8 years old. Her paintings have been displayed at a few galleries including the Vancouver Art Gallery, and featured in local Canadian newspapers. |

Modeling and Media
Amoura Rose has modeled for fashion shows, photo shoots, and appeared in small cameos on TV. Amoura's photos have been featured in marketing material for brands including Teavana, Teaopia, and Urban Tea Merchant.
Education
In 2009, Amoura graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She also did her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the same university. She has also taken lessons in fashion illustration, graphic design cosmetics making, piano, and harp.
Philosophy
Amoura's mantra is "Live Beautifully, Think Elegantly". The art of romance is simply living as beautifully as possible. Let everything and everyone be your sources of lovely inspiration.
Interests
Her favorite activities include European cooking, French home décor, blogging, photography, and yoga. She loves small animals and has two chihuahuas named after the French monarchs - Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette. |
