Amoura Rose is the Founder of the Amoura Rose Beauty Collection, a decadent collection of all-natural skin care. Since childhood, Amoura's passion for Beauty, Finance, and Art had always been prominent. She has lent her expertise since 2001 to various skin care companies including Crabtree & Evelyn, Red Earth, and L'Occitane en Provence. Her most recent role as Director of Marketing and Sales at Open Sundaes Bath & Body Treats had been the most challenging position in her career. From her past experience with the above companies, Amoura decided on a bold new direction to open her own cosmetics firm. In the late summer of 2009, the Amoura Rose Beauty Collection was born. Amoura currently works full-time in the banking industry and is interested in maintaining a finance career while continuing her cosmetics business on a part-time basis.

Amoura graduated in 2008, obtaining a Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of British Columbia. Amoura also moonlights as a fashion artist, designer, and petite model. Pairing an MBA with a background in Visual Arts and Cosmetics, her focus is on business planning, market intelligence and creative direction within the beauty sector. Her creative mindset, sense of aesthetics, and affinity for the finer things in life are all put into the forefront of her work.

Amoura’s signature design combines the essence of Parisian Chic with contemporary haute couture. Her art has been up at a few galleries including the Vancouver Art Gallery and UBC Fine Arts Gallery. Her art and modeling have been published on TV and in newspapers since she was 8 years old. Amoura comes from a family background of arts and entertainment in Asia. Her grandfather directed movies in Taiwan, her grandmother (Yip Lam) entertained in the radio and TV industry, and her uncle Alvin Kwok (郭小霖) sings and produces albums for Sony BMG Music.

	Louis V, a quiet chihuahua, is Amoura’s best four-legged friend and confidante who enjoys traveling out with her for business and pleasure. He is the apple of her eye, and a favorite amongst her clients. He can differentiate many words in the English language, and will react accordingly to specific requests
	Sophie Katirai, owner of Sophie's Closet, is Amoura's closest friend and MBA classmate. She is a successful entrepreneur in the fashion industry with two head offices in Dubai and Toronto. Sophie runs an e-boutique of luxury accessories and jewelry coveted by top stylists and celebrities from around the world.
	Elisa Wakabayashi, owner of Kerrisdale Yoga, founded her boutique to provide a peaceful sanctuary for others to practice in an intimate and soothing environment. As an ecologically conscious entrepreneur, she believes in healthy living and wellness for the body.
